Indiana Fever Snap Five-Game Losing Streak with 90-84 Win over Atlanta Dream
Fever Find Offensive Rhythm in Second Half
The Indiana Fever ended their five-game losing streak with a 90-84 win over the Atlanta Dream on Sunday afternoon at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.
The Fever trailed by as many as 11 points in the first half but rallied to tie the game at 43-43 by halftime.
Indiana took its first lead of the game early in the third quarter and never trailed again.
Mitchell Leads Fever with 25 Points
Victoria Mitchell led the Fever with 25 points, followed by Aaliyah Boston's 22 points.
Mitchell made 10 of her 16 shots from the field, including 3 of 5 from three-point range.
Boston was also efficient from the field, making 9 of her 12 shots.
Dream's Losing Streak Reaches Five Games
The Dream have now lost five straight games and are 5-10 on the season.
Rhyne Howard led the Dream with 23 points, followed by Cheyenne Parker's 18 points.
The Dream shot just 42.9% from the field and 28.6% from three-point range.
Fever Improve to 6-9
The Fever improve to 6-9 on the season with the win.
They will be back in action on Tuesday night when they host the Connecticut Sun.
The Dream will be back in action on Wednesday night when they host the Las Vegas Aces.
