Swansea Man Sets New EV Guinness World Record for 300-Mile Drive
A Swansea man has spoken of the exhilarating journey of setting a new EV Guinness World Record title for the longest journey on a single charge.
The motorist, who wishes to remain anonymous, drove his Tesla Model S for an incredible 300 miles (483 kilometers) on a single charge, breaking the previous record by over 50 miles.
The journey took place over two days, with the driver stopping overnight to recharge the car's battery. He said: "It was an amazing experience and I'm so glad I was able to set a new world record.
