EHF EURO 2024: Qualification Process

Introduction

The European Handball Federation (EHF) EURO 2024 is an international handball tournament that will be held in Germany from 10 to 28 January 2024. A total of 32 teams will participate in the qualification process, with the top 20 teams qualifying for the final tournament.

Qualification Process

The qualification process for the EHF EURO 2024 will take place in two phases. In the first phase, the 32 teams will be divided into eight groups of four teams. Each team will play each other once in a round-robin format. The top two teams from each group will advance to the second phase.

In the second phase, the 16 teams will be divided into four groups of four teams. Each team will play each other once in a round-robin format. The top two teams from each group will qualify for the final tournament.
