Bennett Confirms 42-Year Marriage Over

Legendary rugby league coach Wayne Bennett has confirmed he and his wife of 42 years, Trish, have split.

Bennett was in tears when giving a rare interview about his private life to The Australian on Saturday.

“We’ve had a great life together, but we’ve just grown apart,” Bennett said.

“There’s no one else involved. We just decided that it was time to move on.”
